Attempt to bring CVS Health and Aetna closer

US chain of pharmacies CVS Health is in talks with health insurer Aetna for a future merger. The transaction would amount to 66 billion USD.

The mega-operation, announced for already six months, is delayed by the justice which disapproves this type of reconciliation.

The US authorities believe that the consolidation of the health insurance market should result in a decrease of competition, an increase in tariffs and consequently an increase in inequalities of access to health.
