Ariane 5 insurers are in the wait-and-see position

After several delays sustained by flight 194 scheduled on March 26, Ariane insurers are awaiting the launch of the rocket. This flight will put in orbit two satellites whose insured value represents the total annual premiums of 850 million USD. Specialized insurers (Axa CS, Hiscox, SpaceCo…) would suffer substantial losses in the event of a total claim.
