Ardonagh Europe acquires Groupe Leader Insurance

Ardonagh Europe, the Dublin-based European division of the UK’s Ardonagh Group, has agreed to acquire Groupe Leader Insurance (GLI), one of France’s leading insurance brokers.

Under the terms of the agreement, Leader Insurance will continue to operate under its existing brand and retain its current team.

Yoann Chery, Founder and President of GLI, will become a shareholder in Ardonagh and will lead the group’s operations in France.

Cyrille de Montgolfier will remain Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Groupe Leader Insurance.

This acquisition forms part of Ardonagh’s broader European growth strategy, with the group already active in Ireland, the Netherlands, Greece, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland.
