The amount of the Qatari market premiums is estimated at 2 billion USD in 2015

The Qatari insurance market is currently estimated at 2 billion USD, that is 1% of the country's GDP said Yousuf Mohammed Al Jaida, Deputy CEO of Qatar Financial Centre Authority (QFCA), on the sidelines of the conference Multaqa Qatar 2015.

The emirate is expected to soon publish new insurance regulations in conformity with international standards of solvency.
