The AMO is arousing controversial debates

The Assurance Maladie Obligatoire (AMO)(the compulsory health insurance) is arousing controversial debates. Indeed, during the seminar organized on May 14 in Casablanca by the Association Marocaine des Lauréats du Droit des Assurances (AMALDA), the participants concluded that the new system did not fully meet the needs of the Moroccan population.
Many attendees have spoken out against the lack of communication that surrounds the health system, 80% of whose beneficiaries are unaware of their rights.
