Ammar Meslouh has been appointed CEO of the Compagnie Algérienne d’Assurance et de Réassurance (CAAR).
A. Meslouh holds a degree in finance and insurance from the Arab Maghreb Development Finance Institute (IFID) and an Executive MBA from the Algerian Business School (ESAA).
A brilliant professional, A. Meslouh joined CAAR in 2001 as a research officer. He was promoted to assistant manager and then central manager.
In 2016, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Caarama Assurances (CAAR's life insurance subsidiary), a position he held until the end of 2021.
Prior to his recent appointment, he served as CEO of Algérienne Vie.
A. Meslouh is also second vice president of the Algerian Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (UAR).
