Amendment of the insurance code

Two new provisions of the insurance code provide for the introduction of takaful insurance and the establishment of the right of inspection of the regulatory authorities in the appointment of executive insurance companies’ staff. The first amendment was claimed by the islamist majority party, while the second one was endorsed by the federation of insurance companies provided that this right of inspection is justified.
