A.M. Best upgrades the rating of Africa Re to A

A. M. Best has upgraded the financial strength and credit ratings of Africa Re from A- to A and from "a-" to "a".

The reinsurer's outlook is nevertheless revised from positive to stable.

The American rating agency has justified its new assessment by the good operating performance and the adequate capitalisation of the Pan African company.
