AM Best: ratings of Bahrain Kuwait Insurance and Takaful International

AM Best confirms Financial Strength Rating of "A- (Excellent) and long-term credit "a-" of Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (gig-Bahrain) and its subsidiary Takaful International Company (gig-Bahrain Takaful). The outlook for both ratings is stable.

The rating reflects the financial strength of the insurer's balance sheet, a good operating performance, a neutral business profile and an effective enterprise risk management.

Gig-Bahrain holds a leading position in the Bahraini insurance market and has a strong position in Kuwait.
