AM Best has affirmed a stable outlook for Indonesia’s non-life insurance sector. The rating agency anticipates continued growth, driven by ongoing infrastructure development and robust household consumption, both key factors expected to boost demand for insurance products.
Rising public awareness of healthcare is also expected to support expansion in the health insurance segment.
In addition, continued regulatory enhancements are likely to strengthen the sector’s financial stability. As of June 2025, the majority of non-life insurers had met the minimum capital requirements set by the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK).
