AM Best has decided to maintain its “A” rating

While the agencies Fitch and Standard & Poor's have respectively downgraded from “AA+” to “AA-“ the rating of the reinsurer Swiss Re, AM Best has decided to maintain its “A” rating. This divergence is accounted for by the uncertainties regarding Swiss Re's financial capacity to integrate General Electric Insurance Solutions.
