A.M. Best confirms CICA-RE's rating

A.M. Best confirms the "B" and "bb +" credit rating of the Compagnie Commune Africaine de Réassurance (CICA-RE). The outlooks of the two ratings remain stable. This valuation reflects the good risk-adjusted capitalization of the company.

On the other hand, the high level of claims and the lack of asset diversification weigh on the company's rating. The latter remains, according to A.M. Best, exposed to the economic and financial risks of the markets in the CIMA zone.
