AM Best affirms GIG Jordan's rating

AM Best has affirmed GIG Jordan's financial strength rating of “A-” (Excellent) and long-term credit rating of “a-” with a stable outlook.

The rating reflects the company’s strong technical profitability, demonstrated by a combined ratio of 91.9% in 2024. GIG Jordan also maintains a leading position in the local insurance market, holding a 16% market share during the year.

AM Best’s assessment further considers the strategic importance of GIG Jordan to its parent company, Gulf Insurance Group (GIG), within the group’s overall regional operations.
