Allianz Insurance Lanka acquires Janashakthi General Insurance

Allianz Insurance Lanka, subsidiary of the group Allianz, signed a deal for the acquisition of 100% of the capital of the non life insurer, Janashakthti General Insurance.

The transaction, which amounts to 16.4 billion LKR (106 million USD), is now submitted for approval by the supervisory authority. It shall be finalized in the first quarter of 2018.
