Allianz: H 1 2023 results

As of 30 June 2023, Allianz reported a 4.8% increase in its turnover to 85.6 billion EUR (93.2 billion USD) against 81.7 billion EUR (85.7 billion USD ) one year earlier.

The German group's half-year operating profit amounted to 7.5 billion EUR (8.2 billion USD), up 14.9% over one year.

The net profit grew by 76% compared to the same period of 2022 and reached 4.4 billion EUR (4.8 billion USD).

It should be noted that Allianz's financial results are based on the new IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 accounting standards, which came into force and were adopted by the insurer on 1 January 2023.
