All inhabitants of the Abu Dhabi emirate have a health insurance policy

All inhabitants of Abu Dhabi emirate (nationals and foreigners) have a health insurance policy. 80% of this market is controlled by Daman Insurance. In case all seven emirates which make up the federationimplement the scheme that has been adopted in Abu Dhabi, UAE will become the first Middle Eastern country providing health cover for all of its residents.
