Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance and Toyota Motor reward good drivers

Japanese insurer Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company and car maker Toyota Motor are providing for a new connected motor insurance plan which makes it possible to process some driving parameters such as speed, acceleration and braking from a control device installed in the vehicle.

Drivers having exhibited prudent driving on the roads will be entitled to reductions up to 20% on their insurance premiums. The product, on the market as of January 2018, will be available to owners of all Lexus models, Toyota’s high-end division.
