AIG Vietnam, first American company to settle on the market

The authorities have granted Underwriters Overseas Ltd., a subsidiary company of the American Group AIG a license to operate on the life-insurance market, thus making the new entity, named AIG Vietnam, the first American company to settle in a country where approximately thirty foreign insurance companies are still waiting for their license.
