The AIG group has launched a restructuring operation of its activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The American giant is intent on rationalizing operations conducted in 47 countries by grouping them into eight zones run from London.
The division of the eight new regions includes the Middle East and North Africa, Africa, Central Europe, Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, Northern Europe, Great Britain and finally Western Europe. Team wise, two new positions for strategic leaders and eight general managers have opened up.
