Africa Specialty Risks: Elaine Mason appointed new Head of Claims

Elaine Mason has been appointed Head of Claims at Africa Specialty Risks (ASR). Based in London, she will oversee claims management across ASR’s underwriting platforms in Bermuda, Mauritius, and Lloyd’s.

Mason will report directly to Tunu Sokiri, the newly appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO).

With over 40 years of experience in claims management, including more than two decades at ACE European Group (now Chubb), Mason brings extensive expertise to her new role. Since 2010, she has led Belvedere Mead, a claims consulting firm she founded.

Mason holds a diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
