Africa Re opens liaison office in Kinshasa

Africa Re officially inaugurated a liaison office in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), on 9 October 2025.

This move is part of the African reinsurance leader’s strategy to enhance its proximity to partners and support the growth of the Congolese insurance and reinsurance market.

Founded in 1976, the African Reinsurance Corporation (Africa Re) is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, and has subsidiaries and offices across South Africa, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Côte d'Ivoire, Kenya, Mauritius, Ethiopia, Sudan, and Uganda.
