Africa Re: new head office

After 43 years in Lagos, Africa Re will soon move to Abuja, the Nigerian capital city. On 18 November 2019, the foundation stone for the new headquarters of the African reinsurance leader was laid in Abuja.

The ceremony took place in the presence of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Alhaji Muhammad Musa Bello. This relocation is part of the government policy that requires diplomatic missions and international institutions should be located in the host country's capital city.
