Africa Re: AM Best rating

AM Best has re-affirmed Africa Re's financial rating at A (Excellent). The reinsurer's outlook remains stable.

This rating reflects the strength of the reinsurer's balance sheet, its good operating performance and its appropriate enterprise risk management.

Created on February 24, 1976, Africa Re reported a turnover of 797 415 000 USD with a net profit worth 31 269 000 USD in 2018. Its shareholder's equity amounted to 917 047 000 USD for the same year.
