Acam Vie to operate in Central African Republic

Cameroonian insurer Acam Vie has obtained a license to conduct insurance activities in Bangui, Central African Republic. The opening of the new subsidiary is scheduled for August 2021.

Acam Vie aims to strengthen the digitalization and facilitate the accessibility of life insurance services in Central Africa.

In 2019, the Cameroonian insurance company’s share capital increased by 1 billion FCFA (1.82 million USD). Initially set at 2 billion FCFA (3.64 million USD), it was then established at 3 billion FCFA (5.46 million USD).
