A 50% increase in the motor TPL tariff

Following the rise in physical compensation benefits decided by the authorities, the Motor liability rates have risen by 50% starting from April 2004. the so-called “blood price” or “Diya” has jumped from 150 000 AED (41 000 USD) to 200 000 AED (54 450 USD), which compelled insurers to accommodate their rates.
