Despite the decline in the number of frauds, the amount of insurance fraud in 2013 grew by 18% to 2.1 billion USD, according to figures released by the Association of British Insurers (ABI).
Showing an increase of 34%, motor insurance is the first victim of insurance fraud with 1.3 billion USD.
