A 12% increase of the global turnover

The Fédération Sénégalaise des Sociétés d'Assurances (FSSA) has reported an overall turnover of 57.3 billion F CFA (103.4 million USD) for the year 2004 against 51.3 billion F CFA (92.5 million USD) in 2003, that is, an increase by 12%. Non-life insurance accounts for 85% of the market share, while the life business represents 15%.
