Zimre, recapitalization through the issuance of securities

Zimre, the largest Zimbabwean reinsurer, has announced the imminent issuance of securities designed to raise nearly 15 million USD.

This move is aimed at increasing the liquidity of the group and strengthening its capital.

This initiative will increase the company’s underwriting capacity.

A positive impact is also expected on the rating of the reinsurer by specialized agencies.
