Zimbabwe has authorized political risk policies

Zimbabwean authorities have given the green light to the insurer Champions Insurance to market policies covering political risks. The company, which has not published its tariffs yet, is providing covers against war, riots, civil commotion, terrorism and looting risks. Champions Insurance joined Mapfre Assistance Spain and Lloyd for the elaboration and distribution of this product.
