Winners of the African Insurance Awards 2017

The African Insurance Awards ceremony, an initiative of Africa Re to promote the development of insurance in Africa, was held on 22 May 2017 in Kampala, Uganda.

For this third edition, three prizes were awarded:

• The "Insurance Company of the Year" was awarded to Salam Emerging Market, South Africa.
• The "CEO of the Year" went to Delphine Traoré Maïdou, CEO of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) Africa, South Africa.
• The"Innovation of the Year" was attributed to Takaful Insurance of Africa, Kenya.
