Waica Re is training its underwriters in marine and aviation insurance

Waica Reinsurance (Waica Re) is keen to develop its underwriters’ skills in marine and aviation insurance. The reinsurer, owned by the members of the West African Insurance Companies Association, has confirmed its commitment to provide its sales staff with a training program like the one organized in 2012 in Freetown. This initiative is likely to help Waica Re sharpen the skills of its teams in these classes of business for which they lack expertise.
