Towards five-year term insurance policies

According to The Economics Times, the insurance authority (IRDA) would be on the verge to approve the implementation of motor insurance contracts which are valid for five years.

This new disposal aims to promote the insurance culture within the population and to counter the non-renewal trend of motor policies by the insured.
