Towards the creation of a regional insurance brokers' association

The Lebanese Insurance Brokers Syndicate has launched a project for the creation of an Arab insurance brokers' association based in Lebanon.

Morocco and Egypt have supported the initiative while other Arab broking communities are expected to join the new entity in the near future.

This project was disclosed by the Sydicate President during a meeting with the Insurance Control Commission (ICC). In Lebanon, the insurance market suffers in particular from the sale of insurance policies by unauthorized third parties.
