Three Omani insurers to get listed

Oman Qatari Insurance Company (OQIC), Arabia Falcon Insurance Company (AFIC) and National Life and General Insurance Company (NLGIC) are preparing to go public. The companies mentioned comply, hence, with the 2014 regulations imposed by the regulatory authority (CMA), which urges national insurance companies to list on the stock market at least 40% of their capital before 31 August 2017.

At present, Seven out of eleven insurers are already listed on the stock market.
