Thai Re is planning to expand in Asia

Thai Reinsurance is conducting a feasibility study with a view to expand its activities in the region. The reinsurer is considering two options: the establishment of partnerships with local companies or the opening of branches, with Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam being the targeted markets.

These countries account for a large population with significant growth's potential. Thai Re estimates that Thailandese investments in Southeast Asia are an important vehicle for the development of the company in the region.
