Sosar Al Amane launches Assurpharm

A new insurance product, "Assurpharm," has been introduced in the pharmaceutical sector. Assurpharm is the fruit of a partnership between the company Sosar Al Amane (a subsidiary of the reinsurance group Best Re based in Tunis) and the Union of private pharmacists. Assurpharm offers a mandatory multi-risk insurance that should cover any direct and indirect damage incurred by pharmacies. Before the introduction of the new product, each pharmacist had his own insurer. Before Assurpharm, the system was too rigid because it excluded certain types of insurance.
