Sory Diomande has been appointed CEO of Santam Re & International, the reinsurance division of the South African Santam Insurance Group.
Based in Cape Town (South Africa), S. Diomande holds a Master's degree in Actuarial Sciences from the Institut Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Yamoussoukro (Côte d'Ivoire) and an Executive MBA from IE Business School Madrid (Spain).
The newly appointed CEO has over 20 years' experience in the reinsurance industry in Africa, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Europe.
Throughout his professional career, he has occupied various senior positions with Allianz Reinsurance, Africa Re, Willis Re and Swiss Re.
