The shortage of qualified staff represents a major hurdle for Indian insurers

Indian insurance companies are facing a severe shortage of qualified staff.

A study conducted with local insurers has revealed that in some fields such as underwriting and risk management, the job vacancy rate stands at 25%.

This lack of skilled labor is relatively offset by strategies for training and internal promotion within companies.
