The settlement of the claim cases has been carried out at an accelerated pace

Through the impetus given by the Moroccan Federation of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (FMSAR), the settlement of the claim cases related to the sentences handed down against insurance companies has been carried out at an accelerated pace.
Therefore, non-executed sentences have been reduced by 45% going down from 23 399 at the end of 2007 to 16 134 at the end of last May.
In the ranking of the companies having achieved the best results as regards the settlement of pending cases, Essaada, a subsidiary of the group Saham has come out first with 19 179 cases settled whereas RMA Wataniya and MATU came last.
