Senegal joins the African Trade Insurance Agency

The Republic of Senegal and the African Trade Insurance Agency (ATI) signed on 24 August 2021 a participation agreement regarding Senegal's membership in the ATI.

The country, with the financial support of the European Investment Bank (EIB), is contributing 15 million EUR (17.6 million USD) to the ATI's capital.

This membership offers Senegal the opportunity to attract financing at competitive long-term rates and to benefit from the ATI's expertise in investment and international trade guarantees.
