The 2008 results of Star Assurances have revealed an increase of the gross premium volume at 15.88 million GHc (12.58 million USD) versus 10.11 GHc (10.50 million USD) in 2007, that is, a 57% rise. At 2.9 million GHc (2.29 million USD), pre-tax profits are climbing by 140% compared to 2007.
