Results of the Malian insurance market in 2015

The latest figures revealed by the CEO of the insurance company Lafia, Cissé Aminata Dembélé, the Malian insurance market generated in 2015, 35 billion FCFA (58.3 million USD) of premiums compared to 32 billion FCFA (59.29 million USD) in 2014, an increase of 9.38% in local currency.

According to the same source, during the year 2015, 11 market players (8 non life and 3 life companies) have born incurred losses of 8.3 billion FCFA (13.8 million USD).
