Regulatory update of the Taiwanese insurance market

Fitch Ratings expects Taiwan’s insurers to continue their convergence to global standards.

The convergence includes new accounting rules, improved solvency regime, investment strategy, capital requirements and the promotion of sustainable finance.

The Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) shall release more details on the road map it announced in July 2020.
