Raise of motor insurance tariffs

Faced with rise of road accidents in the country, the insurers are planning to increase the tariff of motor insurance policies accordingly.

The South African car fleet, which is rapidly increasing, has about 8 million vehicles. The rising losses and claims are accounted for by the deterioration of the road infrastructure, reckless driving and the fraudulent system of driving license delivery.
