Q-Re becomes Qatar Re

Q-Re has announced its legal name change. The reinsurer will be now called Qatar Reinsurance Company legally and Qatar Re commercially.

According to Gunther Saacke, CEO of Qatar Re, this change reflects the "fundamental transformation" of the reinsurer, which has significantly expanded its customer portfolio in the last 18 months.
