The Pole president's plane was not insured

The Polish plane which crashed on April 10, 2010 in West Russia, claiming the lives of 96 people, among whom the Polish president and his wife along with several top officials was not insured. The Polish government has, nonetheless committed to disbursing about 8 million USD to indemnify the victims' relatives.
