Ping An Insurance poised to become a tech giant

In the first half of 2019, its revenues generated from technology solutions amounted to 38.4 billion CNH (5.4 billion USD), a figure that may skyrocket over the next decade.

In the field of technology, the Chinese giant employs more than 3 000 researchers, has 19 research centers (11 units and eight institutes). It holds more than 20 000 patents, 96% of which are invention patents. Ping An Insurance's technology solutions are used by nearly 4 000 companies around the world, operating in various industries.
