Only 30% of the population insures their homes

A survey conducted by the Indian insurance company Bajaj Allianz General Insurance reveals that only 30% of India's population have underwritten home insurance. The penetration rate for this branch amounted to only 0.07%.

The study by the Indian insurer covers a total of 1200 people, 60% of which are owners who are sensitive to the risks of natural disasters, fire and theft.
