Oman Insurance to acquire Generali's life activities in the Emirates

Oman Insurance has signed an agreement with Generali on 23 February 2022 to acquire its life insurance business in the UAE.

The transaction gives Oman Insurance the opportunity to speed up the growth of its life portfolio and allows Generali to streamline its business model in the country.

The transaction, which should be completed by the end of August 2022, is pending regulatory approval.
