Olusegun Omosehin, new Chairman of the Nigerian Insurers Association

Olusegun Omosehin, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Old Mutual Nigeria Life Assurance has been elected Chairman of the Nigerian Insurers Association. He is replacing Ganiyu Musa in this position.

This appointment was announced during the 51^st General Meeting of the association. On this occasion, the Nigerian insurance market's 2021 data was also presented. The total volume of premiums amounted to 560 billion NGN (1.36 billion USD) in 2021 against 508 billion NGN (1.32 billion USD) in 2020, showing a 10% increase in original currency.
